This tournament will feature competitors from all over Canada and will offer both gi and no-gi divisions. With impressive absolute division belts up for grabs for colored divisions, it promises to be a great event.
This event offers a unique opportunity for kids, teens, and adult practitioners to come together and compete on a welcoming platform while gaining valuable competitive experience. The Oshawa BJJ Open is hosted by leading black belts in Durham Region from Kalsamrit Martial Arts and Oshawa BJJ and Fitness. By facilitating and promoting Brazilian jiu-jitsu at an exceptional community center, it’s expected that more locals will become interested in the martial art and all the benefits it has to offer.
The Oshawa BJJ Open is the biggest tournament of its kind in Durham and will be held at Delpark Homes Centre. Immediately following the event at 4:30 pm, there will be a No-Gi Grand Prix at 170 lbs featuring some of the top BJJ athletes in Canada. Featured names include:
