OnlineBusiness.com Provides New Opportunities for Those Affected by the Pandemic

New York, NY (Press Release) – With unemployment rates continuing to rise in the US and many workplaces still not cleared for return due to the dangers of COVID-19, many people are looking to the digital space for further opportunities.

And with the uptick in eCommerce transactions in the US where growth was a healthy 44% in 2020 more business opportunities abound for those who have been affected by the pandemic in ways that were unexpected.

Spearheaded by a management team of over 50+ years of digital marketing experience, OnlineBusiness.com is looking to help those interested in finding those new opportunities in the digital space.

A quick search on Google Trends of the terms “start an online business” and “work from home” have seen a spike since the Pandemic which is unsurprising as many people were affected directly by the pandemic whether they lost their job, had an office closure and had more free time at home.

There are also those who have worked in the gig economy prior to the crisis and are now realizing limited opportunities in the current times. This had led them to seek other avenues in the digital space to supplement their income.

“The Pandemic has had an effect on many businesses and livelihoods and what we want to do is help individuals who are looking to capitalize on this digital space opportunity to shortcut their way to building a brand,” said Patrick Santiago, VP of Strategic Partnerships.

“We have relied on digital technology to keep businesses (and our day to day) and industries afloat during these times such as zoom meetings, online food ordering, and grocery shopping. Building a brand these days must include a digital footprint,” continued Santiago.

OnlineBusiness.com provides business opportunities to obtain and acquire premium domain names and fully developed websites to help people find these opportunities and jump-start their business idea in any industry. It has allowed companies to jump-start by providing domains set up as a “Brand Starter”.

OnlineBusiness is led by three brothers who have been in the Digital space since 1998 with experience in many facets of the industry such as domain, affiliate marketing, Google Adwords, SEO, and most recently in the digital marketing space, specifically in public relations with the PR company, Newswire.com.

It has a domain and website portfolio of over 2,000 domains with a valuation of over $1m+.

Some of their notable domain names currently in their portfolio include Napping.com, Energize.com, and 3DPrinted.com.

“OnlineBusiness.com started with a vision to cultivate all of our experiences into a company that helps transform lives the way it did for us, and during these times, we are glad to be able to be in a position to continue to assist those looking to start their online business,” said Michael Santiago, founder.

Napping.com Releases ‘Survival Guide to a Napidemic’ to Provide Tips on Napping Properly

New York, NY (Press Release) – Tiger King. Unemployment. Netflix. Boredom. News Headlines. What do these all have in common? According to Napping.com, they have all contributed to hitting the tipping point of a new pandemic, a ‘Napidemic’. In honor of National Sleep Awareness Month, Napping.com is pushing out a social awareness campaign to promote proper napping by releasing a ‘Survival Guide to a Napidemic.’

Early studies from the UK report that improper napping can put you at greater risk of contracting COVID-19. For example, the study found that for every additional hour of sleep at night, they were 12 percent at lower odds of becoming infected with COVID. On the other hand, those who had napped an hour during the day did have a 6 percent higher chance of contracting COVID-19. This increased risk is a result of how sleep impacts how our body can recover from illnesses.

“We wanted to raise awareness to the benefits of napping and how to nap properly and felt putting a term behind the campaign such as a Napidemic was a great way to capture people’s attention and openness to better napping,” said Anthony Santiago, VP of Marketing.

“When people think napping, they think catnap or power nap, but aside from that, they nap away, but there are benefits to napping properly and that’s the information we hope to convey and spread with this report,” continued Santiago.

Since the start of March, National Sleep Awareness Month, Napping.com has released reports on various areas of sleeping and sleep disorders. They also just wrapped up their “Ultimate Power Nap Bundle” giveaway which ended on March 19th specifically to honor National Napping Day which was on March 15th this year, the day after daylights savings.

Medical research has demonstrated the close connection between sleep and the immune system where the lack of sleep could potentially make vaccines less effective.

“We don’t want to give people another thing to worry about and I am sure we’re all tired of hearing anything ending in -demic, and what we’d all love to do us just sleep it off and wake up in a world free of -demics, and in a way that’s what we’re promoting, take a nap, and although the pandemic will still be around, you’ll be better refresh to take on the day with a proper nap.”

The guide provides a look into how our sleep and napping schedules have changed forever and gives an insight into how to best optimize your nap time and day overall, specifically showcasing the Do’s and Dont’s in a Napidemic.

Napping.com Announces ‘Power Nap Pro Bundle’ Giveaway to Celebrate National Napping Day, March 15

New York, NY (Press Release) – Napping.com, an online publisher for sleep information, expert advice, and the latest news, announces the launch of its “Nap Your Way Through the Day” contest where it will give away its Pro Napping Gear Bundle valued at over $200 in celebration of National Napping Day, March 15 and Sleep Awareness Month.

To enter the giveaway, qualified participants must submit their information on the giveaway page where they can earn more entries by sharing on social media with friends and family. No purchase is necessary and it’s free to enter.

“Many people are unaware of National Napping Day,” said Ethan Howard, Community Manager at Napping.com, “which was created in 1999 by William Anthony, Ph.D., a Boston University Professor and his wife Camille Anthony to bring more awareness to sleep and its impact after daylight savings changes each year. Our team is campaigning for better sleep across the US.”

It is estimated that 50 to 70 million Americans suffer from sleep-related problems, many of who are sleep deprived with under 6 hours of sleep.

“Sleep deprivation is a silent epidemic that can lead to increased health risks like obesity, depression, and heart attacks,” said Howard. “Napping.com is committed to helping educate and provide greater awareness on the importance of not only the quality of sleep but ways to improve your sleep each and every day.”

There are simple ways to develop good napping habits to help improve work performance and alertness. First, set your alarm for no longer than 20 minutes and find a quiet place to rest. It’s best if you find a place that allows you to practice mindfulness. By focusing on relaxing the mind and body, you are able to recover from sleep deprivation and replenish your energy for the rest of the day.

The “Nap Your Way Through The Day” Bundle includes the recommended sleep and napping products to help ensure a peaceful place anywhere. The bundle includes:

  • Ostrich Pillow Lite
  • Calm App Annual Subscription
