About Fayetteville Liberty

With the guiding vision of “Building Hope in the Community One Possession at a Time,” the Liberty are establishing themselves not only as a competitive professional basketball team but as a cornerstone of community engagement, youth empowerment, and regional pride.

A Team for the City, By the City

At the helm is Team Market Owner Robert L. Edwards Jr., a lifelong Fayetteville resident and entrepreneur who has worked tirelessly with his leadership team to ensure the Liberty is more than just another sports franchise.

“Our mission is bigger than basketball,” Edwards explained. “The Liberty represent the spirit of Fayetteville—the resilience, the culture, and the vision for what this city can be. We are here to win games, yes, but more importantly, to create opportunities, to inspire the next generation, and to unite this community under one banner.”

The Liberty will play home games at the Crown Complex Arena, one of the region’s premier sports and entertainment venues. This marks a significant step for both the Crown Complex and the City of Fayetteville, expanding their portfolio of professional sports tenants alongside the Fayetteville Woodpeckers (MiLB) and Fayetteville Marksmen (hockey).

The addition of professional basketball helps further position Fayetteville as a regional hub for sports tourism and entertainment, creating new opportunities for local businesses, job growth, and cultural visibility.

Hope.Community & Liberty City Ambassadors

Beyond the hardwood, the Fayetteville Liberty are committed to initiatives that reach deep into neighborhoods, schools, and community organizations. This commitment is embodied in the Hope.Community movement and the Liberty City Ambassadors Program (LCAP).

Through these programs, the Liberty are building platforms for the next generation:

Free Youth Camps: Annual basketball and leadership camps, with more than 200 kids expected at the first sessions. These camps emphasize fundamentals while teaching teamwork, resilience, and goal-setting.

Scholar of the Year Awards: Students across Cumberland County in grades 1–12 will be recognized each year for achievements in academics, leadership, and service.

A New Literary Movement Is Here to Rewrite the Narrative for Black Women Everywhere

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

A New Literary Movement Is Here to Rewrite the Narrative for Black Women Everywhere

“BLACK WOMEN AREN’T STRONG: WE’RE RESILIENT!” Volume 1 Officially Launches

Featuring 12 Courageous Co-Authors Redefining What Strength Really Means

[Fredericksburg, VA — December 1, 2025] After generations of being labeled strong, expected to endure the unimaginable, and praised for surviving what should’ve broken them, Black women now have a platform to reclaim the language around their lives, their softness, their humanness, and their identity.

On December 17, 2025, Tameka Chapman, award-winning business growth strategist, global speaker, and founder of energizeHER™, will officially release Volume 1 of her groundbreaking anthology series:

BLACK WOMEN AREN’T STRONG: WE’RE RESILIENT!

This release marks the beginning of a historic literary and cultural movement designed to challenge the mythology of “strength” that has long silenced Black women’s emotional truths.

The inaugural volume features 12 powerful co-authors who courageously peeled back the layers of their lives, allowing readers to witness their valleys, their breaking points, but also their resilient rise. Together, these women stand as a collective voice for Black women worldwide who are unlearning survival and embracing their right to feel, heal, be soft, be human, and be whole.

Volume 1 Contributing Authors:

Lantoinette Clarke (Foreword Author), Alicia Sylve, Bria Collins, Carleeka Basnight-Menendez, Czarina Lynell, Dr. Lori Lewis, Psy.D., Kymme Browne, Latoya Vickers, Lois Larkins, Nandria Shaw-Rocio, ShaDonna McPhaul, and Tina F. Foy.

These women represent musicians and vocalists, CEOs, corporate menopause consultants, licensed Christian therapists, salon owners, autism advocates, self-care leaders, storytellers, screenwriters, film directors, business advisors, community builders, and Evangelists.

Different journeys; different battles; one sound of resilience.

From the Visionary, Tameka Chapman:

“Unfortunately, for most Black women, we never knew the word ‘resilient’ because we were called strong… strong-minded, strong-willed, able to handle tough situations that should have caused collapse. At home, we didn’t have the luxury of not doing things because they were too hard. We didn’t complain about it because it wasn’t allowed. We were expected to do as we were told and to not show emotions even when it didn’t seem fair. Yet, here we are as adult Black women trying to find ourselves, trying to explain and over-explain who we are as Black women, and trying to fit into a mold that was created with us in mind.”

This anthology does not glamorize suffering. It dignifies the women who lived through it. Each chapter is a testimony of truth and transformation.

LIVE BOOK LAUNCH EVENT: December 17 @ 8PM EST

A global interactive experience featuring:

• Author stories

• Healing-centered conversation

• The book highlight trailer premiere

• Special guest speakers

This night is more than an unveiling; these black women are reclaiming their identity of resilience.

YURIWOORI: Real Korean Skincare, No Fakes Allowed

Let’s be honest—buying skincare online can feel risky. There are so many fake products out there, and nobody wants to put mystery ingredients on their face. Did you know that about one in three skincare products bought online could be counterfeit? That’s wild!

Meet YURIWOORI

YURIWOORI is a Korean skincare brand that’s all about giving you the real deal. Every product comes with a special VerifEye sticker—think of it like a super high-tech security label, kind of like what’s used on money. If you see the sticker, you know you’re getting authentic K-beauty, not some knockoff.

The CEO, Arti Srivastava, puts it simply: “We want you to feel confident about what you’re buying. VerifEye is our way of promising you’re getting exactly what we made.”

Why VerifEye Rocks

  • It’s almost impossible to copy or fake.
  • You can check the sticker and instantly know your product is legit.
  • It’s proof, not just a marketing claim.

Clean, Vegan, and Straight from Korea

YURIWOORI doesn’t mess around with middlemen. Everything comes straight from trusted Korean manufacturers. The products are vegan, cruelty-free, and approved by WeVegan (a Korean certification group). No animal ingredients, no animal testing, and all packaging is recyclable.

What’s in the Lineup?

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Deep Hydration: Sheet masks, ampoules, and serums with hyaluronic acid, aloe, and marine collagen for that plump, dewy look.
  • Brightening & Glow: Treatments to fade dark spots and even out your skin tone.
  • Anti-Aging: Formulas that help with elasticity and fight signs of aging.
  • Soothing & Calming: Gels and toners for sensitive skin.
  • Clear, Detoxified Complexion: Acne-fighting stuff with charcoal and other specialty ingredients.
  • Sun Protection: Clean, reef-safe UV defense.
  • Comprehensive Care: Cleansers, makeup removers, hand creams, and eye patches for your full routine.

Everything is made in Seoul labs and tested on all kinds of skin types and climates.

Skincare That’s a Ritual

YURIWOORI believes skincare should be personal and enjoyable—not just another chore. The founder was inspired by real K-beauty culture in Korea, where beauty routines are about joy and self-care. So, whether you’re using a sheet mask or sun protection, it’s all about feeling good and sticking to top Korean standards.

Radical Transparency

YURIWOORI is all about being open. No hidden ingredients, no sneaky price hikes. The brand is growing fast, with a loyal community on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. They love sharing real skin stories, expert advice, and education.

Making Waves in the Beauty World

People are noticing! YURIWOORI’s approach to authenticity and anti-counterfeiting is getting attention from industry experts and media. Their direct-from-Korea sourcing and security tech are changing how beauty brands build trust.

Here’s what’s happening:

  • Rapid growth in Indian cities
  • Strong social media community
  • International retailers are interested
  • Media shoutouts for innovation and transparency

What Does “YURIWOORI” Mean?

It’s a combo of two Korean words:

  • Yuri means “glass” or “crystal”—think clarity and purity.
  • Woori means “we” or “us”—all about community and togetherness.

Put together, it’s about transparent beauty and collective harmony. The name fits the brand’s vibe: honest, clear, and connected.

The Bottom Line

YURIWOORI is based in India, inspired by Korea, and delivers safe, cruelty-free, authentic K-beauty. Their promise? You always get the best. Skincare is personal, and every product is an invitation to self-love and calm. Transparency isn’t just a buzzword—it’s the heart of the brand.

What Makes YURIWOORI Different?

  • Radical Transparency: Full ingredient lists and sourcing info for everyone.
  • Personal Curation: Every product is handpicked and tested by the team.
  • Community Education: Loads of content on social media about K-beauty, ingredients, and customer stories.
  • Ethical Beauty: Partnerships with eco-friendly Korean manufacturers.

CFIA Ostrich Trainer: A Darkly Humorous Satire on Bureaucratic “Heroism” and Institutional Absurdity

Vancouver, BC – The newly launched browser game CFIA Ostrich Trainer, available at cfiahero.com, takes aim at the surreal intersection of bureaucracy, ethics, and gamification. What first appears to be a simple government-style training simulator quickly reveals itself as a biting piece of satire — turning agricultural management into absurdist theatre.

Set within a fenced rectangular pen filled with 300 animated ostriches, players assume the role of an unnamed “CFIA Hero,” equipped with 300 rounds of ammunition and a mandate to “train” the flock. As the birds scatter chaotically, the player’s task becomes clear: to execute efficiency at all costs, one click at a time. The game’s cheerful interface, score counter, and upbeat title sharply contrast with its grim undertone — a commentary on the bureaucratic detachment that can accompany real-world mass culls or “biosecurity responses.”

“The brilliance of CFIA Ostrich Trainer lies in how it weaponizes simplicity,” said one early reviewer. “It reduces complex ethical dilemmas to point-and-click tasks, just as bureaucracy often reduces life to statistics.”

The game’s satirical intent is clear. By wrapping violence in the language of administration — “training,” “heroism,” “management” — CFIA Ostrich Trainer mirrors how institutions sanitize difficult realities through procedural and PR language. The result is both uncomfortable and darkly funny, blurring the line between responsibility and absurdity.

The title and domain name themselves — CFIA Hero — parody the bureaucratic tendency toward self-congratulation and institutional myth-making. The game’s sterile metrics (ammo, score, alive count) underscore how human and animal lives can become abstracted data points in systems obsessed with compliance and efficiency.

Minimalist in design yet rich in implication, CFIA Ostrich Trainer invites players and observers alike to question the moral narratives embedded in officialdom, gamification, and public service heroism. It’s a work of digital satire that uses humour to expose the dark logic of procedural obedience.

About CFIA Ostrich Trainer

CFIA Ostrich Trainer is an independent browser-based satire project hosted on cfiahero.com. It is not affiliated with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency or the Government of Canada. The project uses parody and interactive media to explore the language of bureaucracy, ethics in governance, and the absurdity of administrative heroism.

Fifth Grader Drafted to Middle School Sports Team for Exceptional Athleticism

In an impressive show of skill and maturity well beyond his years, 10-year-old Tyjah “TJ” Gaddy has been selected to join the middle school sports program at Alpha Academy, a charter school in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The fifth grader’s exceptional performance on the field and court has earned him early recognition from coaches and peers who see tremendous potential in his athletic future.

Despite competing against older and more physically developed players, TJ’s speed, agility, and game intelligence have consistently set him apart. Coaches say his ability to adapt, anticipate plays, and execute under pressure make him one of the most exciting young prospects to watch in Fayetteville youth sports. His recent selection to a middle school team marks a major milestone for a player his age.

TJ plays with the heart of a champion,” said his father, Tyric Gaddy. “Age doesn’t matter when you’ve got this much talent. He puts in the work, stays focused, and keeps improving every day.”

TJ’s love for football, basketball and soccer started at an early age, fueled by countless hours of practice and a natural drive to compete. Whether running drills or studying game film, his dedication has impressed everyone around him. Coaches have noted his leadership qualities and his ability to motivate teammates with his positive energy and sportsmanship.

“Most kids his age are still learning the fundamentals,” one coach commented. “But TJ plays with confidence and understanding that we normally see in older athletes. He’s disciplined, coachable, and never backs down from a challenge.”

Joining Alpha Academy’s middle school athletic program gives TJ access to higher levels of training, competition, and mentorship from experienced coaches. It also positions him among a new class of young athletes being developed through Fayetteville’s growing youth sports community — one known for producing standout players who go on to make an impact at the high school and collegiate levels.

The Gaddy family hopes TJ’s journey will inspire other young athletes to pursue their passions with determination and humility. “He loves the game, but he also respects it,” said Tyric. “We tell him to stay humble, stay focused, and always give 100 percent. That’s what separates a good player from a great one.”

As TJ prepares for his first season with Alpha Academy, excitement is building both locally and online. His highlights and updates can be followed on Instagram at @tjupnext2033, where fans and supporters can watch his athletic development unfold.

For a fifth grader to compete at this level is rare, but for those who have seen him play, it’s no surprise. With natural athletic ability, relentless work ethic, and a supportive family behind him, Tyjah “TJ” Gaddy is quickly proving that greatness knows no age.
