Legalese Decoder Welcomes AI4Legislation 2025 Winner: Oliver Fan’s “Congressional Bill Tracker” Joins Platform as New Civic Tech Hub

San Francisco, CA – Legalese Decoder, the pioneering AI platform revolutionizing access to legal understanding, today announced a strategic partnership to host Oliver Fan’s award-winning “Congressional Bill Tracker” on its expanded ecosystem. As the Grand Prize winner of the SVCAF’s AI4Legislation 2025 competition, Fan’s innovative tool— a predictive AI dashboard for tracking and forecasting U.S. congressional bill outcomes—will now be accessible at congressionalbilltracker.legalesedecoder.com, empowering citizens, policymakers, and educators with real-time insights into the legislative process.

The AI4Legislation 2025 competition, hosted by SVCAF, challenged everyone including high school and college students across the U.S. to develop AI solutions enhancing legislative transparency, policy analysis, and civic engagement. Oliver Fan, a talented high school student from Texas, took home first place and a share of the $10,000 prize pool for his Congressional Bill Tracker. This groundbreaking project leverages a time-aware ensemble machine learning system—combining Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, and Logistic Regression models—to analyze over 16,500 bills from the 118th Congress. With 78-82% ROC-AUC accuracy and calibrated confidence intervals, it provides actionable predictions on bill passage (noting that only 1.7% become law), all integrated with real-time data from the Congress.gov API. The tool’s focus on uncertainty quantification and bias mitigation sets a new standard for ethical AI in governance.

“Oliver’s Congressional Bill Tracker is a beacon of innovation from the next generation of civic tech leaders,” said William Theos, founder of Legalese Decoder. “By hosting it on our platform, we’re not just amplifying his work—we’re creating a seamless hub where users can decode complex bills with Legalese Decoder’s plain-English translations and then dive into predictive analytics with Fan’s tracker. This synergy makes legislative tracking more accessible than ever, turning opaque lawmaking into an empowering tool for everyday Americans.”

This integration aligns perfectly with Legalese Decoder’s mission to democratize legal and legislative clarity. Users visiting congressionalbilltracker.legalesedecoder.com can now:

  • Track and Predict: Input any bill to receive real-time status updates, cosponsor analysis, and AI-driven success probabilities tailored to the bill’s lifecycle.
  • Simplify with AI: Seamlessly cross-reference with Legalese Decoder’s core engine, which instantly translates bill text, metadata, and amendments into plain English—free for basic use, with premium plans starting at $9.95/month for expanded features like document saving and higher word limits.
  • Engage Civically: Explore interactive dashboards, ethical uncertainty scores, and educational resources to foster informed participation in democracy.

For small business owners navigating regulatory changes, students studying policy, or activists monitoring key legislation, this combined platform offers unmatched value: affordability (no costly legal consultations), speed (instant insights), and equity (free access to core tools). As Theos notes, “In a world where only 7% of bills become law, tools like this bridge the gap between complexity and comprehension, ensuring voices from all communities are heard.”

The partnership builds on the momentum from SVCAF’s September 21 award ceremony, where Fan’s project edged out runners-up like the DebateSim Team’s legislative simulation platform. Full details of the winners and ceremony highlights are available on SVCAF’s site.

To experience the future of civic tech, visit congressionalbilltracker.legalesedecoder.com today. Legalese Decoder remains committed to planting one tree per paid subscription via OurForest, blending innovation with environmental stewardship.

Rachel S. Lee Reveals Five Untapped Ways to Leverage Media Features for Maximum Impact

San Diego, CA – September 26th, 2025Rachel S. Lee, founder of GetFeatured.com, has released a new YouTube video, “Ways to Leverage Media Features (Most People Only Use #1),” where she reveals five powerful strategies for maximizing the value of press releases and media features. While most businesses stop after showcasing their “As Seen On” logos, Lee explains how to use media coverage to boost SEO, drive engagement, increase credibility, and attract new opportunities.

The Missed Opportunity in Media Features

Many businesses view media coverage as a one-time win. But according to Lee, this mindset leaves massive untapped potential on the table.

“Most brands stop at simply showing their logos,” says Lee. “But your media features can be repurposed into dozens of touchpoints that amplify your visibility, authority, and conversions.”

Lee outlines five strategic ways to leverage press releases and guaranteed media features for long-term impact.

The Five Ways to Leverage Media Features

1. Use Media Features for Announcements

Press releases are perfect for making newsworthy announcements:

  • New product or service launches
  •
  • Book releases
  •
  • Awards and achievements
  •
  • Customer success stories
  •

When written in a journalistic style, press releases increase your chances of being featured on high-authority sites.

2. Boost SEO with Keyword-Rich Press Releases

Lee explains how properly optimized press releases:

  • Help brands rank higher in Google search results
  •
  • Build hundreds of backlinks to websites and socials
  •
  • Push outdated or irrelevant search results further down
  •
  • Improve visibility in AI-driven search tools
  •

“A single press release can produce hundreds of indexed results and thousands of backlinks,” Lee explains. “And when you publish consistently, you dominate your space online.”

3. Showcase Media Features on Your Website

Adding an “As Seen On” banner and embedding press release links directly onto your site builds instant trust with visitors. Lee recommends:

  • Creating a dedicated “Press” page
  •
  • Adding logos to your homepage, landing pages, and footers
  •
  • Using features to increase conversions on sales pages

4. Repurpose Press Releases for Email Marketing

Press coverage provides ready-made content for email campaigns. Businesses can:

  • Send the feature as a standalone email
  •
  • Highlight it in regular newsletters
  •
  • Include links in email signatures
  •

This builds credibility and increases click-through rates.

5. Create Social Media Content From Your Features

Lee emphasizes repurposing media features into content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Threads:

  • Post direct links to the feature
  •
  • Use branded graphics, Reels, and Stories
  •
  • Turn highlights into value-driven captions
  •

Social proof fuels engagement and improves brand discoverability, as platforms increasingly act as search engines.

The Bonus Tip: Use Media to Get More Media

Lee advises using your existing press coverage to secure even bigger opportunities:

  • Pitch podcasts and interviews using published features as credibility
  •
  • Reference your placements when reaching out to journalists
  •
  • Build a strong personal brand narrative for ongoing exposure
  •

“Media coverage opens doors,” Lee says. “Use your first feature as leverage to land the next one.”

Marcus Doss Salon Partners with The HEEAT Research Lab to Advance Life-Saving Treatment Research

The HEEAT Research Lab has announced an innovative partnership with Marcus Doss Salon, marking a significant step in advancing life-saving treatment research and bridging the gap between beauty professionals and scientific discovery. This collaboration highlights the important role salons can play in supporting medical advancements while continuing to serve as trusted community spaces.

The HEEAT Research Lab (Health, Education, Evaluation, and Treatment) is dedicated to conducting critical studies that bring new insights and innovative solutions to the health field. By partnering with salons across North Carolina, the Lab is building a network that integrates everyday environments with meaningful research. This initiative underscores the organization’s mission to transform community spaces into hubs for awareness, education, and participation in life-saving studies.

For the Marcus Doss Salon, this collaboration is not only an honor but also an opportunity to make a broader impact beyond the world of beauty. Known for delivering premium services and a client-centered experience, the salon is now proud to contribute to a project that has the potential to save lives and change the future of treatment research.

“We are extremely honored and excited to be a part of this life-saving research project,” said representatives from Marcus Doss Salon. “Our team has always been dedicated to helping people look and feel their best. Now, by partnering with The HEEAT Research Lab, we can support something even greater—bringing hope and healing through treatment research.”

Expanding the Role of Salons in Research

The HEEAT Research Lab recognizes that salons are more than just beauty destinations—they are trusted spaces where people share their stories, build relationships, and feel safe. By involving salons in research partnerships, the Lab is creating pathways for community members to learn about studies, engage in dialogue about health, and take part in initiatives that can shape the future of medicine.

The collaboration with Marcus Doss Salon sets a strong example for other beauty professionals across North Carolina. As part of this partnership, the salon will help raise awareness of ongoing research, share educational resources with clients, and serve as a community ally in promoting wellness and treatment innovations.

An Invitation to Salons Across North Carolina

The HEEAT Research Lab is actively seeking additional salon partners to expand the reach of this groundbreaking initiative. Salons that join the effort will have the opportunity to be directly connected to health research that addresses critical needs, while also demonstrating leadership in their communities.

By becoming a partner, salons can:

  • Support treatment research that aims to improve and save lives.
  • Offer clients access to trusted information about ongoing studies.
  • Enhance their brand reputation by aligning with a mission-driven cause.
  • Strengthen community ties by contributing to both beauty and health.

A Shared Vision for Community Impact

The partnership between Marcus Doss Salon and The HEEAT Research Lab highlights a shared commitment to making a difference where it matters most: in people’s lives. It represents a fusion of creativity, care, and science—an innovative model that other salons and communities can emulate.

“Partnerships like this illustrate the power of combining everyday spaces with research goals,” said leaders at The HEEAT Research Lab. “When salons engage with us, they help bridge the gap between science and the community.
