Orlando Florida – December 14th, 2021 – The Thornton Park New Year’s Eve Party has become the destination for New Year’s Eve in Orlando! 2022 Thornton Park New Year’s Eve Block party is bigger and better than ever. It will stretch 2.5 city blocks in the Thornton Park District, including 7 different venues, 3 Stages, 3 DJs, 2 Jumbotrons, and 3 ticket options for any budget.

This year American Happy Hour and Graffiti Junktion are happy to announce that DJ Flent Duncan is back. This will be DJ Flent Duncan’s 5th-year performance at the Thornton Park New Year’s Eve Block Party. “Flent is a crowd favorite in Orlando and our guests always request to have him back” Ross B. Williams of American Happy Hour said. “He not only plays great music from every genre to keep any crowd going, but he also has a way to connect and make friends with the audience for an incredible experience.

Flent Duncan also known as DJ Flent D is a veteran dj of all genres. He began his career using the industry-standard Technics 1200’s then moved to the Pioneer CDJ’s during the age of CDs and digital downloads. The technology presented Flent with an opportunity to go back to his passion for the Technics 1200. He was enabled to combine old with new. 

This breakthrough allowed Flent to diversify his music selection at events.

He went from being a hip hop and r&b dj to an open-format dj. Open-format is specific to no one genre of music. This leaves Flent an open door for creativity and opportunity. There is no style of music he can’t incorporate into a set. He has been known to blend all of these genres live on set (hip-hop, r&b, pop, rock, 80’s, southern rock, country, house, electronic, motown, 50’s oldies, disco).

Every weekend party-goers head to downtown Orlando for cocktails, fun, and music so when it comes to New Year’s Eve locals are looking for something different to do. Three stages featuring DJ Flent Duncan, DJ Flatline, and DJ Irene Pardo will keep the night alive with incredible music. These three DJs are all alumni of the Thornton Park New Year’s Eve Street Party and always put on a great show for locals around Orlando.

For the main event, attendees will watch the countdown from two massive jumbotrons that can be seen anywhere on the 2.5 city blocks. There is not a bad spot on the street to enjoy your New Year’s Eve countdown.

Guests will have three ticket options to fit any budget. General admission, Open Bar, and VIP Experience tickets will be available ranging from $10-$120 in price.

There are three types of people that go out on New Year’s Eve.

Those that want to be in the crowd, those that like to have space, and those that like to mix it up. The VIP option is what makes this event special and fits all three types of people.

The VIP area will include a private area with limited guests for comfort, its own VIP DJ, and VIP Premium open bar for fast service and extra fun. This is perfect for those people that like a premium event.
